The Clapper Plus with Remote Control is a sound activated switch and radio remote control for lights or appliances designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities. This unit allows the user to turn one or two appliances on or off by clapping hands or by pressing a button on a remote control. The remote control operates at a distance up to 25 feet away, and can operate through walls from another room or from outside. Operable appliances include lamps, Christmas tree lights, fans, and radios. The remote can be handheld or mounted to a wall or to furniture such as a dresser with the included adhesive. The switch can be adjusted for softer or louder claps. In the Away setting, connected appliances turn on with the detection of any sound. OPTIONS: Remote switch available separately.
