The Finger Control Hand Device, model HD100, is a trigger finger support designed for use by individuals with fine motor, neuromuscular, or upper extremity disabilities or spinal cord injury. Available for the right or left hand, this device is intended to straighten curled fingers and assist the user with pulling the trigger on a firearm or crossbow. The unit features a splint-like support that is placed under the index finger and attached with three Velcro straps. The support extends beyond the base of the finger and past the thumb. It also curves around the base of the hand and extends past the end of the finger. It is this portion that is inserted into the trigger guard and pulls the trigger.
